Increased ASB throughout Hythe |

Do you know where your children are and what they are doing? It is with regret that I am discussing a significant increase in anti-social behaviour in the Hythe area that is impacting residents greatly, causing distress, impacting safety and financial loss. Home owners are experiencing not only eggs being thrown at their cars and home windows but have also had stones, rocks and a brick thrown at properties causing windows to smash, whilst they are home. The majority of the incidents have been centred around Hillside Street and Bartholomew Street. Incidents are also being reported on Albert Road, Dymchurch Road, Portland Close, Portland Road, Sir John Moore Avenue and Oaklands Park. Residential and commercial premises have also been broken into and damage caused within.
The individuals causing this are children aged between 12 and 16 years. These could be your children or children of parents you know. As a community it is for everyone to instill social responsibility in youth. This is essential for their personal development, building compassionate and ethical morals. Which promotes a safer community without fear or anxiety of crime.
If you have ring doorbell, home CCTV images of youth, or have any information that will help to identify an individual involved in these incidents. Please use this platform to speak with me. Alternatively anonymous information can be given through crimestoppers or by calling 101. | ||
