Good evening Resident

Of late, there has been an increase in opportunistic theft from local residents’ vehicles left insecure overnight.  Firstly, I wish to say I have noted this as the Local officer and am trying to get ahead of the curve. Please ensure no valuable items are left in your vehicle overnight and please lock and double check vehicles are locked when unattended.

As always, if you notice your vehicle has been opened of items stolen overnight. please contact the police and most likely, I will be notified. 

CCTV and lines of enquiry to locate a suspect is a priority, however, if your vehicle is locked it won’t give them the chance.
