Operation Frostwatch – Week 2 Update

Last week, Operation Frostwatch ran from Monday 24th to Sunday 30th November, marking the end of Week 2.

We made a strong impact across Merton, we’re back at it this week and we’re already off to a great start!

Week 2 Highlights

Multiple arrests for drug related offences following proactive vehicle stops.

4 wanted individuals located and arrested.

Officers intervened in an incident where parking attendants were being threatened, resulting in arrests for affray.

A suspect previously in a vehicle pursuit was arrested for dangerous driving, drugs offences and multiple other vehicle related crimes. He was arrested along with another individual for being in possession of drugs.

Valuable intelligence gathered about local drug supply lines.
