'Cyber Bullyng' input at St Andrews C of E Junior School, Hadfield - on Monday 1st December

PCSO Buller from the Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) attended St Andrws C of E Junior School, Hadfield Rd, Hadfield this afternoon , Monday 1st of December.

The team had been invited by the school to complete an input on ‘Cyber Bullying’ with 2 classes of their KS2 year 5  students (9-10 yrs) 

We discussed with each class the following:

• What is cyber bullying? Examples
• Group Chats
• Excluding People
• Photos and videos
• The impact on individualss and group chats
• What is a bystander - what is an upstander
• Tell a trusted adult
• Let them know youre there for them - what is a friend
• Record/Listen
• What if its happening to you?
• Consequences for the bully
• Where to find support

Thank you to the Head Mrs Cornwall and to both teachers and TA's from each year 5  class for accommodating the inputs today and a very well done to all of the students who engaged during each input this afternoon.
