You might have seen and heard some police activity in Longridge during the early hours of this morning, and we want to give you some more information. Around 1.50am today we were called to an address on Higher Road, Longridge, to a report of theft of a high-powered motorbike. The security chain on the bike had been cut and the bike wheeled away. Our officers attended and a containment were put in place in the area. With the help of PD Viper’s tracking skills, three young men were traced to a garden where they were hiding. The motorbike was recovered and returned to its owner. Three teenagers from Preston, aged 19, 18 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle. The local Neighbourhood Policing Team have been conducting CCTV enquiries in the area as part of the investigation into the theft. Anyone with information, please contact 101 – quoting log 0059 of 1st December. Or direct reply to my message.
