Dan will be holding a regular slot on the Cheshire Mix 56 radio station, updating residents on the work he is doing and answering your questions.

What can I ask Dan about?

You can ask Dan about anything to do with policing and crime in Cheshire. Bear in mind, he's not a police officer, so anything operational is not his area. That's the responsibility of the Chief Constable.

Dan is focused on intervention and prevention projects to stop people getting into a life of crime, particularly funding projects to keep kids busy.

He's also looking at how technology can be used by Cheshire Police to be more efficient and keep one step ahead of criminals by using things like artificial intelligence (AI) and drones. He's also put lots of money into commissioning local services such as those that can help survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
