Appeal for help

APPEAL | Detectives are appealing for help to identify two potential witnesses in Newquay who may have information which could assist with an ongoing investigation into a serious sexual assault.

We are trying to identify two people who were running/jogging on Barrowfields on an evening between 10 and 14 November and may have witnessed suspicious behaviour.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, is being supported by officers.

A 46-year-old man from Newquay was arrested on suspicion of rape. He has since been released on police bail.
