I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Personal theft (for example pick-pocketing), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Officers from Maidstones Town Centre Task Force worked with Ambassadors from One Maidstone and conducted plain clothed patrolling to tackle the seasonal rise in shoplifting and pick pocketing. Multiple persons were stopped for a variety of offences including drugs, shoplifting and for the purposes of searches.
