The Grinch Joins the Beat! 🎄🚔

This year, the Grinch has had a change of heart 💚. Instead of stealing Christmas, he’s decided to spread some festive cheer and do more good than bad!

We’re excited to announce that he’s joined the Western Ward Beat Team as a Special Constable to support us over the busy festive period (especially with a few of our officers out of action).

Keep an eye out – you might spot him on patrol keeping the streets safe instead of stealing presents! 🎁👮‍♂️

As the nights draw in and temperatures drop, we’re working hard to keep our streets safe for everyone. Here are a few tips to help you and your community this winter:

✅ Light Up Your Walk – Stick to well-lit routes and avoid shortcuts through dark areas.
✅ Secure Your Home – Double-check doors and windows before heading out.
✅ Look Out for Each Other – Report suspicious activity and check in on vulnerable neighbours.
✅ Plan Ahead – If you’re out late, arrange transport and let someone know your plans.

Together, we can make our streets safer this winter. If you see something that doesn’t feel right, call 101 or report online. In an emergency, always dial 999.
