An Update on Woodside Ward

This week your local Neighbourhood Policing Team, Woodside have been busy across the ward.   

On Friday the 28th of November 2025, officers from Woodside Neighbourhood Policing Team worked alongside neighbouring ward teams and the Wood Green Town Centre Team to conduct a passive drugs dog operation outside Wood Green Underground Station. This operation was extremely successful and community members who officers spoke with were very positive and pleased to see officers. This operation resulted in a number of stop and searches taking place, with large numbers of drugs being seized. Arrests were also made and one individual was arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply, when he was found with a very large amount of herbal cannabis on his person. 

Woodside Neighbourhood Policing Team have also been conducting high visibility and plain clothes patrols across the ward, with the support of their sister ward, White Hart Lane Neighbourhood Policing Team. We have been tackling areas across the ward where we have had reports from local residents of drug use. These patrols have resulted in a number of stop and searches being conducted. This had led to drugs being seized and those found with drugs having been dealt with appropriately.
