Hello Resident, ✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ Update from Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team Dear Resident, Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Moseley and Kings Heath neighbourhood policing team. What’s been happening? Knife crime intervention and prevention – this week we visited Queensbridge Secondary school to deliver our VR headset knife-crime awareness sessions to Year 8 pupils. These sessions will be rolled out to additional schools across the area. Street Watch – officers carried out joint patrols with two of our Street Watch groups – Kings Heath and Moseley covering Kings Heath High Street, Moseley Village, Salisbury Road and Amesbury Road. Junior PCSOs – PCSOs delivered our fourth training session to the Junior PCSOs at Moor Green Primary school, focussing on road safety and anti-social behaviour, next week they will be taking part in a traffic operation outside their school. School engagement event – we visited a local secondary school to meet pupils from each year group, talk about the work that officers do, how we support schools and young people, and the pathways available for those interested in joining the police in the future. Parking operation – we partnered with Birmingham City Council to carry out another parking operation around Moseley including Moseley Village, Alcester Road and surrounding areas. Our upcoming events Community Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Coffee #1 in Moseley on Tuesday 9th December between 11am – 1pm Please feel free to pop along and say Hi!
