Local Priorities Mobile phone theft Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

While on patrol, officers from Tottenham Central Safer Neighbourhood Team were flagged down by a member of the public who reported that their mobile phone had been snatched from their hand. Officers immediately conducted an area search and, using the “Find My iPhone” feature, were able to track the device. The phone was successfully recovered and returned to the victim.
