Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have carried out further speed checks on Trallwn Road, Birchgrove Road, Heol Ffrin and Lon Las areas. Over the two days of checks 779 vehicles were speed checked with 41 vehicles found to be doing more than 20 miles an hour . most were given a presentation and if caught again will be reported for the offences. 3 people were given Traffic orders .
These checks will be ongoing in an effort to educate drivers on the dangers of speeding and enforce the current regulations.
