Joint Operation - Baker Street

Marylebone Residents have been raising concerns regarding the behaviour of delivery riders on Baker Street, and we listened.

Today officers from Marylebone & Hyde Park, along with West End Safer Neighbourhoods conducted a joint operation (op Energise) with Immigration officers to tackle the issues caused by Delivery Riders in the Baker Street area.

As a result of our efforts, three delivery riders were arrested for immigration offences.

In addition to this, three illegal e-bikes were seized. This means that these three riders will be summonsed for driving not in accordance with a drivers license, and driving without third party insurance.

This will likely result in six points on their license and a hefty fine!

The seized bikes will most likely be destroyed.
