Dear resident This evening we co ordinated a Walk and Talk and Bus ‘n’ Discuss community engagement. This initiative forms part of the borough-wide action for White Ribbon and the 16 Days of Action campaign to end violence against women and girls.
The Walk & Talk event provided a safe and supportive environment for people to come together, share experiences, and highlight the importance of tackling violence against women and girls. Meanwhile, officers carried out a Bus ‘n’ Discuss engagement, where they were available to listen to concerns and promote Clare's Law as well as the launch of the Walk Safe App with passengers.
The 16 Days of Action brings together organisations, communities, and individuals to raise awareness, challenge attitudes, and promote support services for those affected by domestic abuse and gender-based violence.
