St George’s Primary School Assemblies – Wrotham

Good Afternoon Resident

This afternoon, I visited St George’s Primary School to deliver two assemblies aimed at educating pupils on key issues affecting our communities and online spaces.

Years 5 & 6: We explored the topic of anti-social behaviour, discussing what it means, how it impacts the community, and the importance of making positive choices. The pupils were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own ideas about how to keep their neighbourhood safe.

Years 3 & 4: The focus was on online safety and cyberbullying, highlighting how to stay safe online, the importance of kindness in digital spaces, and what to do if they encounter harmful behaviour. The children showed great enthusiasm and contributed actively to the conversation.

Across all year groups, the level of engagement was outstanding. It’s vital to start these conversations early, equipping young people with the knowledge and confidence to make safe and responsible decisions both in the community and online.
