Images released after aggravated burglary on Purley Avenue, Cirencester |

Officers investigating an aggravated burglary in Cirencester have released CCTV in a bid to locate stolen jewellery which has sentimental value. The footage shows three men gain entry to a property on Purley Avenue in the town between 7.30pm and 8pm on Wednesday 19 November. One of them was wearing a white face covering, dark jacket with a white hood hanging out of the back of it, light coloured baggy trousers, and white and black shoes, which possibly were trainers. The second person was wearing a light coloured jacket with a hood and small zips at the front, a face covering up to his eyes, a light coloured cap, and dark coloured trousers. He was also wearing dark trainers with a white rim, and black gloves which had a white logo on the top. The third person was wearing a light coloured jacket with a hood, a dark cap, light bottoms, with black gloves. It is believed that the group then left the area in a small car. Lots of jewellery was stolen in the burglary, including items which hold sentimental value. This includes a gold ring with a purple amethyst heart, a gold ring which was made up of little gold flowers all around it, and a pair of silver stud earrings with brown tiger eye gemstones. Scenes of crime officers forensically examined the property after the burglary was reported and house to house and CCTV enquiries have taken place. Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who recognises the men pictured or has any information about the burglary. Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw a small car which was parked on the double yellow lines at the end of Purley Avenue with the junction of Victoria Road around the time of the burglary.
