Joint Immigration Operation Wimbledon Town Centre

Today, officers from your Safer Neighbourhood Team worked on a pulse operation with Immigration Officers, Merton Council Parking Wardens and agents from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) stopping food delivery workers on Wimbledon Broadway. 

Officers were there in support of our partners in Immigration as part of their ongoing operations on illegal working.

Our partners from Merton Council and the DVSA were there to assist with parking and vehicle related matters.

Immigration arrested 3 individuals for immigration offences.

Police reported 2 riders for licence offences and seized 2 mopeds.

Merton Council issued 3 Fixed Penalty Notices for parking offences.
