Poaching Patrols

Good afternoon all,

It is that time of year where we see an increase in certain crimes, Poaching is particularly prevalent. 

Your Safer Neighbourhood Team are working with farmers to tackle poaching. 

We are seeing an increase in poaching across the county, and some of the parishes in Ross on Wye have reported activity.  

These gates in two different locations in Ross on Wye have been rammed, causing considerable damage, this has then led to illegal trespass, crops being damaged and illegal hunting. 

Please help us by reporting any wildlife crime. Helpful information would be location (what3words), description of suspects, vehicle details. 

Remember, do not put yourself in any danger. These offenders may be carrying weapons, so please call 999 in an emergency.
