|
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after two teenagers were assaulted on Portland.
One of the boys was walking along Castle Road at around 6.30pm on Tuesday 25 November 2025 when a man pushed him into a bush at the entrance to Victoria Gardens.
The man is then reported to have pushed the second teenage boy up against some railings in the gardens and then punched them before making off with the victim’s bike in the direction of Castle Road.
Neither of the victims sustained any serious injuries.
The man is described as aged around 50 with short dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black beanie hat, orange jacket and black trainers.
Police Constable Roger Clark, of Weymouth and Portland police, said: “We have spoken to the victims in this case and are continuing to carry out detailed enquiries.
“I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that might assist our investigation, to please contact us.
“I would also ask any residents or businesses in the vicinity with CCTV or doorbell cameras to please review any footage from around the relevant time to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250173913. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111. | ||
