Parcel Thefts

With Christmas coming up and the increase in parcels being delivered.  We've had a few reports of parcel thefts in the area from doorsteps and communal areas in apartment blocks.

Help to deter parcel theft

Arrange safe delivery - if you are not going to be home consider using a designated safe place, trusted neighbour, parcel locker or collection point.

Track your parcels

Use delivery notifications so you know when items are due to arrive.

Avoid leaving packaging outside.

Look out for your community

Report any suspicious activity, such as individuals following delivery vans, checking doorsteps or dressed as delivery drivers but with no visible van nearby.  If you see a neighbour's parcel left out, give them a friendly reminder.
