Let’s Keep Our Community Safe |
||
|
This week is Prevent Awareness Week, which focuses on working together to stop people from being drawn into terrorism or extremism. Prevent is about safeguarding – helping individuals before harm occurs.
What to look out for: Sudden changes in behaviour or attitude Becoming isolated from family and friends Expressing extreme or hateful views Spending a lot of time on websites or social media linked to extremism
These signs don’t always mean something is wrong, but if you’re concerned, it’s better to share your worries.
How to report or get advice: In an emergency, call 999 For non-urgent concerns, call 101 Report online at www.act.campaign.gov.uk You can also speak to your local policing team for advice and support
Prevent is about protecting people and communities. By staying alert and sharing concerns early, we can help keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your continued support.
