Think before you park

Not the start of the day for some residents in this road in the area of Quantock Drive who could not leave their road due to a visitor parking in such a position that other vehicles could not get through.

We could not get our emergency vehicle through and we are probably one of the smaller vehicles of the Emergency Vehicles fleet who might need to attend a location to help someone.

Unfortunately the vehicle owner is going to learn the hard way about considerate and legal parking as we could not get a contact number for them so we were left with no other option but to recover the vehicle to the yard.  They will need to pay the recovery agent to have their vehicle released.

With no contact numbers to notify them, if they return here after work finishes then this is definitely not how you want to finish a day at work.

Please consider how you park your vehicle.  Keep the road clear so others can use it.
