Combating ASB in Meon Vale |
||
|
Many of the community had raised concerns regarding the recent anti-social behaviour. I want to reassure you that your reports are taken seriously, and a number of actions are already in place to address the issues raised.
Below is an overview of the measures currently being taken:
•Targeted patrols: Officers have identified key individuals linked to recent anti-social behaviour. Warning letters will be issued in line with national anti-social behaviour guidelines, and local schools and families have been engaged.
•Increased officer presence: Patrols are being conducted both on foot and by vehicle, with additional officers deployed to Meon Vale as a priority. This will continue over the coming weeks.
•Support from response teams: A tasking has been created to ensure response officers carry out additional patrols across the district, with patrol levels adjusted based on risk, demand and harm.
•CCTV monitoring: We are working closely with Stratford District Council to review and monitor CCTV systems already in place.
•Partnership work: We remain in regular contact with the local Parish Council and will continue to share updates through them and through Warwickshire Connected.
•Local police surgeries: Plans are in place to set up regular police surgeries in the area, which will be publicised through Warwickshire Connected and local police social media pages.
Please continue to report issues via the telephone or our online reporting platform: https://www.warwickshire.police.uk/ro/report/
