Wanted male caught and arrested after foot chase

This evening, our patrolling PCSOs spotted a male acting suspiciously outside a shop which has recently been the target of many shoplifting incidents.

As our PCSOs approached the male, he made off on foot and onto a local estate.

A foot chase occurred, and eventually the male was caught and detained, by the PCSOs.

Turned out he was actually wanted for a previous theft.

The male was subsequently arrested by our Neighbourhood Police Officers and is now in custody.
