Local Neighbourhood Team update |
||
|
Dear {FULL_NAME
Good Evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams,
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
For OP Septre week we have been patrolling retail areas to deter shop lifters, talking to local homeless people and referring them to homeless agencies. Two arrests were made for shoplifting and robbery. One arrest for failing to appear at court. We have also carried out weapon searches around railway stations and New Hall Valley.
Theft of motor vehicle There have been 1 report of stolen vehicle in the past week from Willmott Road this vehicle was a keyless entry. If you do own a keyless entry vehicle please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch, when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
Burglary There has been one Burglary reported on Aulton Road, this was a lock snap burglary. For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ The nights are getting darker, so please remember to lock all windows and doors before heading out and make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Surgeries PCSO has attended St James Church to carry out Police Surgeries giving crime prevention advice and talking to local residents about issues in the area.
A visit to All Saints Church was made to speak to the Sikh’s of Sutton in relation to safety when out and about.
A Street Watch patrol was carried on the Harvest Fields Estate.
Have a safe week.
Kind Regards PCSO Gill Whittingham
