Dear Residents, Following the recent spike in burglaries, your local Community Policing officer have been working tirelessly to keep EDGWARE Ward safe. Officers have been doing reassurance visits, street briefings and crime-prevention sessions, reminding residents to stay vigilant and report anything suspicious.
In the early hours of 22nd November at 00:20 hours, officers responded to a call on CAMROSE AVENUE after a resident reported someone inside their neighbour's house. When responding officers arrived, they caught a male suspect on the spot, dressed in black clothing with a white hood, balaclava and gloves. He was arrested at the scene and investigation is ongoing. Thank you to the resident who called . it really helped. Please stay vigilant, and if you see or hear anything suspicious, call 999 in an emergency or 101 for non-emergencies.
Team will continue to patrol and organise Community Crime Fighting Sessions in the ward.
