Day of action focussing on women and girls’ safetyDate: Wednesday 10 December 2025 Time: 2pm to 4:30pm Walk for Women, leaving Art Park, Greenhill Way Car Park at 2pm Finishing at: Lowlands Recreation Ground Join us for a walk through Harrow Town Centre as one of Harrow’s days of action, raising awareness of women and girls’ safety. Hear from local providers and find out what support is on offer to help keep women and girls safe. The walk will include several stops along the route, featuring short talks from local organisations that provide vital support to residents. A route map will be available on the day. Topics include: Health and wellbeing services Domestic abuse support Counselling and mental health support Youth outreach initiatives Other key local services If you’re unable to join us for the full walk, you can meet us at Lowlands Recreation Ground at 3.30pm to find out more about the range of support services available in Harrow for victims of gender-based violence. While you stay and chat, refreshments will be available as well as information leaflets and personal safety items to take away. Please remember to: Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather Bring water to stay hydrated throughout the walk Ensure you are physically able to complete the route Photography Notice: We’ll be taking photographs on the day to help promote the event and future community safety initiatives. If you’d prefer not to appear in any photos, please speak to one of our marshals wearing purple LBH hi-vis at the start point in Art Park or at any point along the route.
