#Sceptre

Dear South Chadderton, 

On Wednesday 19th November 2025, our Neighbourhood Team worked in partnership with the Traffic Unit at South Chadderton tram stop as part of Operation Spectre. 

Spectre is a proactive initiative focused on tackling knife crime and reducing the carrying of knives within our local community. At approximately 6:00pm, a knife arch was deployed at South Chadderton tram stop with Neighbourhood Officers present in Coalshaw Green Park. 

These measures form part of our ongoing commitment to reducing knife crime and anti-social behaviour, helping to make our area a safer place for everyone.
