Scam Alert – Please Be Aware! 

We’ve been informed that some people supported by the Community Response Service (CRS) have received fraudulent phone calls from people claiming to be from the service.

These callers are:
Saying our prices are increasing and asking for payment.
Claiming someone needs to visit to check or change equipment.
 

Important:
These calls are NOT from CRS. CRS will never contact you about finances or your account.
The only official CRS number for equipment changes is 0161 342 5100.

If you receive a suspicious call:
Do NOT give out personal or financial details.
Hang up immediately.
Report it to us though Report a problem to Tameside
