Burglary appeal: Can you help?

Dear Resident

We are appealing to the Cookley community for information following an attempt burglary at a home on Austcliffe Road.

Sometime between 16.30 - 18.30pm 21/11/2025 a metal object was forced into the lock of a residential property in this location, with a view to gain entry. The offenders were unsuccessful at this time, however have caused a substantial amount of damage to the lock. The property is in a semi rural location with a public right of way/ footpath nearby.
