Event: Knife Amnesty

Dear Resident

Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team held knife amnesties yesterday 21st November. The first was held at ASDA Far Cotton in the morning, and the second at TESCO Mereway in the afternoon.

They were both very well attended with a selection of knives of different shapes and types and sizes handed over to us for destruction.

We would like to thank everyone that surrendered their unwanted knives as it does contribute to helping tackle knife crime, which is a priority to us. 

Also a big thank you to everyone else that popped along with their questions and topics they wished to speak with us about.
