Good Morning all, Greater Manchester Police has launched #DarkerNights - a campaign providing residents across the region with information to protect their homes and vehicles from burglary and theft. Theft from vehicles is often an opportunistic crime, as thieves are usually after valuables that can be seen from outside the vehicle. Never leave your valuables in plain sight. On the 20th November we received a report of a Theft From Motor Vehicle which had occurred on Timperley Road.
Its unknown exactly when the offence happened due to the victim being away from the property for a number of days.
This November, there have only been two theft from motor vehicle offences recorded in Ashton Hurst.
Please stay vigilant and remove expensive items from your vehicle.
