Today, the Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team visited Brookfield Primary School to speak with Key Stage 2 pupils about the important topic of knife crime.

We explored questions such as:
✅ What is knife crime?
✅ What does the law say about knives and bladed articles?
✅ How can you report knife crime?

Understanding knife crime helps young people recognise the risks, spot warning signs, support those affected, and play a part in keeping our communities safe.

We want to thank the staff of Brookfield Primary School for allowing us this opportunity to discuss this topic with the students.
