We’re so proud of the incredible children at Filey Junior School who took part in our “Make an Elderly Person Smile” project, set up by Filey Police at North Yorkshire Police.

This was all done as part of Op Present — a project designed to help and support our elderly community throughout the winter months ❄️💙.

From bringing farm animals into nursing homes 🐑, delivering beautiful flowers 🌸, selling their toys to raise funds 🧸, and volunteering at local coffee mornings ☕ — every single project has touched hearts and brought joy to our elderly community.

The impact has been truly special, and the smiles say it all 💖.

👏 Well done to everyone who entered — it was a very hard choice to select our winners! Congratulations to all those who received prizes, including amazing family vouchers and the top prize of a three‑night weekend away for the whole family.

A huge thank you to the local businesses who supported this initiative — your generosity helped make this possible.
