Dear Resident
There have been 2 incidents of criminal damage at the Shepherd day centre on Middleton Road that have been reported to Police in the last two weeks. This has caused upset and worry to staff and users of the centre, which provides a vital service for adults with learning difficulties.
Between the 7th and 10th of November unknown persons have climbed onto the roof of The Shepherd day Centre in Middleton road while the premises were closed and damaged the skylight. This has caused water to leak through the roof. The crime reference number is 41/110081/25.
Between 6pm on Monday the 17th of November and 9am on Tuesday the 18th of September unknown persons have started a fire by the main foyer entrance to the Shepherd Centre causing scorch marks which has melted the facia wall. The crime reference number is 41/109787/25. Police are appealing to anyone who may be able help with these enquiries by called 101 and quoting the relevant crime number.
