Cocaine dealer jailed |

A cocaine dealer who was part of a gang supplying drugs in Cannock has been jailed.
Thomas White, 30, of Blackfords, Cannock, has been jailed for four-and-a-half-years at Stafford Crown Court after he admitted four counts of supplying a controlled drug of class A (cocaine) and one count of being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
He was one of the nine people arrested in June this year when we carried out warrants at a number of homes across Cannock, following an investigation into the supply of cocaine in local communities.
When White’s home was searched, we found two bags of cocaine inside. He denied his involvement in drug supply when he was questioned in custody, but because of the strength of our evidence, we were able to secure a number of charges against him.
Five of the other people who were arrested during the warrants all admitted to the offences in court on 11 July. They have been remanded ahead of their sentencing date at Stafford Crown Court on 19 March 2026. One man and one woman, both from Cannock, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine at an earlier hearing and were jailed collectively for six-years-and-four-months back in September this year. The remaining two people who were arrested and charged in June are due to appear at Stafford Crown Court on 8 December.
Chief Inspector Al Lyford, from the Cannock local policing team, said: “Officers and staff have worked tirelessly on this investigation to compile all of the evidence needed to take nine criminals off the streets.
“This involved carrying out 12 search warrants at different homes in the area all on the same day in order to strike proactively against organised crime and to tackle the people adversely affecting local communities.
“We worked closely with our colleagues in the major and organised crime department to make this investigation possible, and I’m pleased that we’ve been able to achieve such a great result through some effective proactive policing.” | ||
