Update on the site visit with the council to Conrad house and surrounding area |
||
|
Hi Resident
Just wanted to send a quick update following my last message saying that there would be a site visit in the Mayville estate near Conrad house with the council on the 20/11/25 (yesterday). The site visit did go ahead, some residents did report some concerns of homeless people that have set up camp near CONRAD and BECKFORD house they are no longer there at the moment, we are aware of a door on CONRAD house (not a door that gives access to the building) that does not have a lock on it and council will be looking to put a lock on that to prevent people from being able to set up camp there.
The council and safer neighbourhood team are trying to identify the homeless person/s to see what help can be given to them, remember that if you see a homeless person setting camp you can make an alert on STREETLINK and someone from the outreach team will reach out to that homeless person to get them help. https://thestreetlink.org.uk/
In the site visit we did talk about the football pitch (near Beckford house) as some residents have made report of noise, I will let the council speak about that so if you have any questions about locking up times etc make sure to contact them. If there is a lot of noise coming from the pitch at unreasonable times remember that you can contact Islington council mobile ASB team Parkguard using their website https://www.islington.gov.uk/community-safety/anti-social-behaviour or contact number 020 7527 7272.
this is a mass email so you don’t need to reply.
kind regards PCSO HASHI.
