* CRIME ALERT *

Good Morning,

During the early hours of 20/11, we received reports from residents around Beaumont Chase, of a male trying car doors and in some cases successfully accessing those vehicles that had been left accidentally insecure. 

My colleagues, PC 08287 Morris and PCSO 65652 Ratcliffe were in the area yesterday to gather any CCTV to support this investigation. However, we believe there could be other individuals effected so ask that anyone local to the estate check any CCTV cameras between 04:00 and 06:00 that morning. Please ensure you report any offences via 101 / online so I can then make contact to gather any outstanding footage.

This message is also to alert residents in the wider community and act as a reminder for everyone to remain vigilant. Please could you ensure that you double check that vehicles and addresses are locked and secure before heading to bed at night and also ensure you avoid leaving anything of value inside your vehicles over night to deter offenders.
