CCTV released in a bid to trace any witnesses of an attack, on a woman last month.

We have released CCTV in a bid to trace members of the public who may have witnessed an attack on a woman last month.

A woman in her 50s was attacked in Waddens Brook Lane on Monday 27 October at around 6.30pm.

The woman was assaulted by a group of between four and five men aged in their 20s. The men were all wearing dark clothing with their hoods up. At least one of the offenders was described as white.

Detective Inspector Racheal Allen, from our Major Crime Unit said: “We have released these images in the hope that these people may be able to help our investigation.

These people are in no way involved in the attack but were in the area at the time and may have seen something that could help us.

We would like to appeal to any of these individuals to come forward so we can talk to them.”
