SUSPICIOUS MALE AND FEMALE - LONGLEVENS / ELMBRIDGE

Recently there have been numerous reports on social media of a male and female knocking on doors in Elmbridge asking to check ‘Wifi speeds’.

The female is white, long straight hair and aged mid twenties.  The male is white, dark hair.  Both have lanyards and are asking to come into your home to check the Wifi.

Gloucestershire Constabulary have not been made aware of any of this activity from Wifi / internet providers.

Legitimate staff from these providers should have an ID badge detailing which company they work for. It is rare that they will require entry to your property in an unplanned visit. 

If you get any callers of this nature please be wary and do not let them into your property or provide them with any personal information.
