Theft of a bike

Dear resident,

We are appealing for information after a bicycle was stolen outside WAENDEL LEISURE CENTRE, THOMAS STREET, WELLINGBOROUGH.

The theft occurred between 16:00 and 15:10 hours on 12/11/2025.

The offender rode off on the stolen bicycle which was dark grey with orange writing on it. The suspect has been described as a white male with dark hair and short beard wearing an all-grey tracksuit and dark trainers.

Did you witness anything? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: insert reference number. Alternatively you can report online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your bike:

Secure your bike by looping a cable lock through the front wheel and then through a Sold Secure® Gold standard D lock or chain. Then attach bike to a bike stand or immovable object with the lock  Sold Secure - Security Product Testing & Approval
