Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from myself and the Longbridge Neighbourhood Team.

Our Priorities

Anti-social behaviour, shop theft and drugs around the Longbridge retail and South & City College area. Concerns highlighted to local officers and from call data received to WMP with incidents to this locality.

We are experiencing an increase in robbery offences in Longbridge. Recent offences from Mid-October have been around the Rea Valley Route which runs from Arden Road, Frankley to Longbridge Retail Park.

A number of concerns reported of speeding and poor driving across the Longbridge area, There have also been reports of ASB on car parks around The Great Park.

What’s been happening…?

Continuing with our high visibility patrols, focusing on the areas which have seen incidents of anti-social behaviour and crime. It was also nice to see our areas becoming very festive!

Engaged with businesses in Arden Road and Northfield as part of Business Crime UK week, around the daily issues faced, the measures they take to deal with this and how we can continue to offer our support.

Great to meet our StreetWatch Group and join them on a very cold evening walk, they do a wonderful job in looking out for their neighbourhood. We look forward to joining on more in the future.
