Op Sceptre

Today as part of Operation Sceptre. Which is the Force's response to knife crime within GMP. Officers in the Neighbourhood Team have conducted a knife arch operation at Trafford Bar Metrolink station. 

There was plenty of engagement with the community. One person had to be spoken to about running away from officers across the tram tracks. After being detained he saw that this was a dangerous move to make 

We also conducted a knife sweep of Gorse Hill Park, Stretford.
