Community engagement

Yesterday 18th November, PCSO Usher visited a local group on the ward, whom get together once a week.

This group of great elderly ladies meet weekly and get together to socialise, catch up with one another, whilst carrying a great cause for charity.

All the ladies I met yesterday, knit blankets and other items, which they then provide to charity to pass onto Hospitals for them to give out to patients . These ladies give up their own time for around 3 hours once a week, and from what I observed whilst with them, do a fantastic job, their time and efforts are greatly appreciated.
