Capel St Mary – appeal after dog incident

Police are appealing for witnesses to a report of an incident involving two dogs.

The incident took place on Sunday16th November at about 3.15pm to 3.25pm on Old London Road in Capel St Mary where a dog walker was attacked by another dog being walked by its female owner. 

The victim sustained cuts to her left hand, wrist and forearm and bruising to her forearm and cuts/bruising to her right index and ring finger. Her dog, a Cavapoo, also sustained an injury to the neck and requires ongoing veterinary treatment.

The suspect dog was described as black and possibly a Staffordshire bull terrier.
