Serial Crofton Park Arsonist Arrested

The team were recently made aware of a linked series of criminal damage occuring around Crofton Park whereby the offender was using a handheld blow torch targeting Ring Doorbells of residential premises. This caused significant concern and alarm to residents in the area, in particular that the intentions of the offender were unknown. The team immediately conducted a diligent and proactive investigation in order to identify and apprehend the offender.

On Monday 17th November 2025 a 17 year old male from Lewisham was arrested and charged with 14 Arson Offences and also for Possession of an Offensive Weapon and was remanded to appear at court. 

This is an example of the dedication the team have in regards to their communities and will continue to target offending.
