Witness and dash cam appeal after assault in Abbots Langley

Dear Resident,

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following an assault in Abbots Langley.

At around 4.25pm on Sunday 9 November, a verbal altercation took place between two groups of people on Mallard Road. A man aged in his 40s was then seriously assaulted, causing a black eye. 

Three people – a 44-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy – were arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Detective Constable Daniel Cunningham, from the Three Rivers Criminal Investigation Department (CID), said: “We are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident, and I am asking anyone with information to please get in touch.

“If you saw what happened, or have any further details, please email me via Daniel.Cunningham@herts.police.uk. Additionally, if you have a dash cam fitted and were driving in the area at the time then please check it in case you recorded any useful footage.”
