Important Fraud Warning for Herne Bay Residents |

Dear Herne Bay Resident,
We have received another report of a fraud incident where a victim was contacted by someone claiming to be from the police. The caller convinced the victim that they were assisting with an ongoing fraud investigation and instructed them to withdraw money from their bank.
To be absolutely clear: the police will NEVER ask you to withdraw money on our behalf or instruct you to lie to your bank.

If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or online at https://www.actionfraud.police.uk.
