Keyless Car thefts

Dear Residents, 

We have had several reports of car thefts in the area where they have been stolen without the keys. If you have a new style vehicle that relies on the proximity of the key fob emitting a signal to the vehicle to unlock and start it- this may be intercepted by criminal devices. 

Please ensure when at home keys are placed into a ‘Faraday’ type box or wallet every time you leave the vehicle.
